
The Baumer FSE 025B4004 is a through-beam type fiber optic sensor with a smooth, cylindrical side-view sensing head. It features an actual range of 160 mm and is designed to operate within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C. The sensor head, made of aluminum, measures 5 mm in width/diameter and 16 mm in height/length. It does not support adaptable or integrated lenses but is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 25 cm long with a 4 mm² cross-section and a PVC jacket. The cable has a bending radius of 12 mm when fixed and 24 mm when mobile.
