Description
The Baumer FUE 025B4003 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth, cylindrical sensing head designed for side viewing. It features a sensing distance of 25 mm and an exit angle of 60°. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. The head dimensions are 4 mm in width/diameter and 16 mm in height/length, made from aluminum. The fiber optic cable, with a length of 25 cm, is composed of glass and has a cross section of 0.5 mm². The cable's jacket is made of PVC, with a diameter of 2.5 mm, and it has a fixed bending radius of 7.5 mm and a mobile bending radius of 15 mm. This sensor does not support shortening of the fiber optics, nor does it have an integrated or adaptable lens.
