The Baumer FUE 050A2008 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a sensing distance of 210 mm. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head made of aluminum, measuring 6 mm in width/diameter and 30 mm in height/length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and has an exit angle of 60°. It is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm but does not allow for shortening or adapting the fiber optics. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 50 cm long with a cross section of 3 mm² and is encased in a PUR jacket with a diameter of 6 mm. The fixed bending radius is 18 mm, and the mobile bending radius is 36 mm.
