The Baumer FUE 100A2002 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a sensing distance of 60 mm. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head made of aluminum, measuring 4 mm in width and 24 mm in length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and has an exit angle of 60°. It is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm but does not support shortening of the fiber optics, nor does it have an integrated or adaptable lens. The fiber optic cable is 100 cm long, made of glass, with a cross section of 1 mm², and is encased in a PUR jacket with a diameter of 4.5 mm. The fixed bending radius is 13.5 mm, and the mobile bending radius is 27 mm.
