Description
The Baumer FUF 050B2003 10217017 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a sensing distance of 25 mm. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head made of aluminum, measuring 3 mm in width/diameter and 17 mm in height/length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +250 °C and has an exit angle of 60°. It is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm but does not allow for fiber shortening or lens adaptation. The bending radius is 15 mm for fixed installations and 24 mm for mobile applications. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 50 cm long with a 4 mm brass chromium-plated cable jacket and a cross-section of 0.5 mm².
