
The Baumer FUF 500A1001 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a sensing distance of 1 to 88 mm. It features a cylindrical threaded fiber optic head made of brass, measuring 6 mm in width/diameter and 30 mm in height/length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +250 °C. It has a fixed bending radius of 18 mm and a mobile bending radius of 36 mm. The cable jacket, also brass and chromium-plated, has a diameter of 6 mm. The fiber optic cable is made of glass, has a cross section of 4 mm², and is 500 cm long.
