
The Baumer FUL 500D2Y00 is a liquid-detection type fiber optic sensor designed for contact with medium. It features chemically-resistant and heat-resistant plastic fiber optics with a smooth sensing head. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -30 to +105 °C and has a sensing distance of 0 mm. The cylindrical smooth fiber optic head measures 4 mm in width/diameter and 15 mm in height/length, made from PFA material. The fiber optics, with a diameter of 0.5 mm and a bending radius of 30 mm, can be shortened to the desired length. The 500 cm long cable, also made from chemically resistant PFA, has a jacket diameter of 4 mm.
