Description
The Baumer FVDK 10N5101/S35A is a high-performance sensor equipped with a pulsed red LED light source and a yellow LED indicator for alignment or lens soiling. It features a potentiometer for easy adjustment, operates on a 660 nm wavelength, and includes suppression of reciprocal influence to prevent interference from other devices. The sensor has a fast response and release time of less than 1 ms, and it operates within a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC. It consumes a maximum of 30 mA with no load and typically 20 mA. The output function can be set to light or dark operate, and it includes an NPN output circuit with a maximum output current of 100 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The compact, rectangular design measures 10.4 mm in width, 27 mm in length, and 14 mm in depth, with a durable ASA plastic housing. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and operates in temperatures ranging from -25 to +55 °C. The sensor is rated at IP 40 for protection against solid objects.
