Description
The Baumer IF08.D03L-Q25.GP1I.7VCU is a high-precision distance measuring sensor with a quasi-flush mounting and linearized output. It offers a measuring distance of 0 to 3 mm with a resolution of less than 0.005 mm in High Accuracy Mode and a repeat accuracy of 0.01 mm. The sensor features adjustable IO-Link communication and can be taught through single point, two point, or window methods. It has a linearity error of ±10 µm for distances up to 2 mm and ±90 µm up to 3 mm. Temperature drift is maintained within ±2% for 0 to 2 mm and ±6% for 0 to 3 mm, with adjustable hysteresis of less than 99%. The response time is less than 1 ms, and it operates at a switching frequency of 1.25 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 8 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 15 mA with no load. It supports PNP, push-pull, and IO-Link output circuits with an output current of 50 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor communicates at a baud rate of 230.4 kBaud (COM 3) and is designed with a rectangular stainless steel housing and a PBT sensing face. Dimensions are 8 mm in diameter and 24.6 mm in housing length, with a connection via a 2 m PUR cable. It can be tightened with a maximum torque of 0.8 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -20 to +70 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress.
