Description
The Baumer IF250.P12S-N52.NC1Z.71CV is a non-flush, rectangular proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and an assured sensing distance of up to 81% of Sn. It features a real sensing distance with a tolerance of ±10% of Sn and a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr. The sensor has a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr and is equipped with a red LED output indicator. It is designed to work with various materials, offering correction factors of 100% for mild steel, 70% for stainless steel, and 50% for aluminum. The switching frequency is 1000 Hz, and it operates within a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA at no load. The output circuit is an NPN break function (NC) with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of PA 12 and has a sensing face of PA, measuring 25 mm in dimension and 52.4 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2-meter cable with PUR 3 x 0.14 mm² characteristics and weighs 36 g. Suitable for operating temperatures between -25 to +75 °C and storage temperatures from -40 to +75 °C, it is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and water ingress. The sensor also meets IEC standards for vibration and shock resistance, ensuring durability and reliability in challenging environments.
