Description
The Baumer IF250.P12S-N52.PO1Z.71CV is a non-flush, rectangular proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and an assured sensing distance of up to 81% of Sn. It features a real sensing distance with a tolerance of ±10% of Sn and a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr. The sensor has a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr and includes a red LED output indicator. It is designed to work with various materials, offering correction factors of 100% for mild steel, 70% for stainless steel, and 50% for aluminum. The switching frequency is 1000 Hz, and it operates on a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC with a maximum no-load current consumption of 12 mA. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing and sensing face are made of PA and PA 12 respectively, with dimensions of 25 mm and a housing length of 52.4 mm. It connects via a 2-meter PUR cable and weighs 36 g. Suitable for operating temperatures between -25 to +75 °C and storage temperatures from -40 to +75 °C, it meets IP 67 protection class standards and is resistant to vibrations and shocks as per IEC standards.
