Description
The Baumer IFBR 11N13T1/L-9 11014614 is a non-flush, hygienic design proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm and a hysteresis range of 2 to 15% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 1 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical smooth design is made from LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) for the housing, measuring 11 mm in diameter and 54 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2 m PVC cable and operates within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C, withstanding cleaning temperatures of 80 to +100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly durable with IP 68/69K and proTect+ ratings, ensuring protection against ingress and high-pressure washdowns. It meets various regulatory approvals, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and multiple FDA and EC regulations, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.
