Description

The Baumer IFBR 11N17T1/S14L-9 11014593 is a flush-mounted, hygienic design proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 2 to 15% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 1 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical smooth design is made from LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) for the housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. The sensor has a dimension of 11 mm in diameter and a housing length of 60 mm, with an M12 connector type. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C and can withstand cleaning temperatures of 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for high-level protection against ingress.
