Description

The Baumer IFBR 17N17T1/S14L-9 11014602 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical smooth sensor designed for hygienic applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. Equipped with a red LED output indicator, this sensor operates with a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. It has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when unloaded and supports an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to under 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable operation. The sensing face is made of LCP, while the housing is crafted from durable stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, measuring 17 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and can withstand operating temperatures from -40 to +80 °C, with cleaning temperatures ranging from 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. This sensor is highly protected with an IP 68/69K rating and proTect+ sealing, making it suitable for stringent hygienic environments.
