Description
The Baumer IFBR 17N37T1/L-9 11014619 is a quasi-flush mounted inductive sensor designed for hygienic applications, featuring a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and adjustable hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. It includes a red LED output indicator and supports a switching frequency of 500 Hz. This sensor operates within a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA at no load, and an output circuit with NPN break function (NC). The voltage drop is less than 2 VDC, and it can handle an output current of 200 mA, reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The cylindrical smooth design uses LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) for the housing, measuring 17 mm in diameter and 55 mm in length. It connects via a 2 m PVC cable and operates between -40 to +80 °C, with a higher tolerance for cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly durable with IP 68/69K and proTect+ ratings, ensuring protection against dust, high-pressure water, and steam. It meets various regulatory approvals, including Ecolab, EHEDG, and multiple FDA and EC regulations, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical industries.
