Description
The Baumer IFBR 17P13T1/L-9 11014620 is a non-flush, cylindrical smooth sensor designed for hygienic applications, featuring a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and a hysteresis range of 2 to 15% of Sr. It includes a red LED output indicator and operates with a PNP make function (NO) output circuit. This sensor supports a switching frequency of 500 Hz and can handle a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when no load is present. The output current is 200 mA, reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is constructed with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing. The sensor has a diameter of 17 mm, a length of 55 mm, and is connected via a 2 m PVC cable. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C and can withstand cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly durable, rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for maximum protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for stringent cleaning processes. It meets various regulatory approvals including Ecolab, EHEDG, and several EC and EU regulations, as well as FDA standards for food contact.
