Description
The Baumer IFBR 17P17T1/L-9 11014616 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical smooth sensor designed for hygienic applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm with a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. Equipped with a red LED output indicator, this sensor operates with a switching frequency of 500 Hz and a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. It has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when no load is present and supports a PNP make function (NO) output circuit. The output current is 200 mA, reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, with a sensing face of LCP. It measures 17 mm in diameter and 55 mm in length, and is connected via a 2 m PVC cable. The operating temperature ranges from -40 to +80 °C, with a higher tolerance of 80 to +100 °C for cleaning up to 30 minutes per day. It boasts an IP 68/69K protection class and proTect+ sealing, ensuring durability in harsh environments. This sensor is compliant with multiple regulations including Ecolab, EHEDG, and various EC and FDA standards, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.
