Description
The Baumer IFBR 17P17T1/S14L-9 11014600 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical smooth sensor designed for hygienic applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm with a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates on a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. It supports a maximum output current of 200 mA and a reduced current of less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and reliability. The housing is made of stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, with a sensing face of LCP, suitable for stringent hygiene standards as evidenced by multiple certifications including Ecolab, EHEDG, and various FDA and EC regulations. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to +80 °C and withstand cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly protected with an IP 68/69K rating and proTect+ sealing, making it ideal for food and beverage processing environments. It connects via an M12 connector and has a compact design with a 17 mm diameter and 60 mm housing length.
