Description
The Baumer IFFM 08N1701/O1L 10229710 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 12 mA. Its output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is rectangular, made from PBT for the sensing face and die-cast zinc nickel-plated for the housing, measuring 8 mm in dimension and 38.5 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
