Description
The Baumer IFFM 08N3701/O1L 10229711 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA with no load. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built with a PBT sensing face and a die-cast zinc nickel-plated housing. The sensor measures 8 mm in diameter and 38.5 mm in length, and is connected via a 2-meter cable. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
