Description
The Baumer IFRM 05N35A3/S35L 10144438 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 1 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 2% and 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA with no load. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is cylindrical threaded, made with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 5 mm in diameter and 36 mm in length. It connects via an M8 connector and requires a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm (Front: 1.4 Nm). Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +75 °C, it is rated at protection class IP 67.
