Description
The Baumer IFRM 05P15A1/S35L 10152822 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 1 mm and a hysteresis range of 2 to 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 12 mA. It includes a PNP make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. Equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, the sensor is constructed with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 5 mm in diameter and 45 mm in length. It connects via an M8 connector and requires a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
