Description
The Baumer IFRM 05P15A5/Q 10144460 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 1 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 2 to 20% of Sr. It operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz and requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, consuming a maximum of 12 mA with no load. The sensor features a PNP make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design uses LCP for the sensing face and stainless steel for the housing, measuring 5 mm in diameter and 15 mm in length. It connects via 0.5 m wires and requires a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm. Operating temperatures range from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
