Description

The Baumer IFRM 05P37A3/S05L 11082471 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 1.6 mm and adjustable hysteresis of 2 to 20% of Sr. It features a dual red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 3 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA with no load. It includes a PNP break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced durability is ensured with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor is constructed with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 5 mm in diameter and 24 mm in length. It connects via an M5 connector and requires a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +75 °C, it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
