Description
Baumer IFRM 08P1713/L 10230288 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA when no load is present. It includes a PNP make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its cylindrical threaded design uses PBT for the sensing face and stainless steel for the housing, measuring 8 mm in diameter and 22 mm in length. The sensor connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 10 Nm (7 Nm at the front). It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
