Description
The Baumer IFRM 08P37A4/L 10156224 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 5 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 12 mA when unloaded. It includes a PNP break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, this sensor is designed with a cylindrical threaded housing made of stainless steel and a PBT sensing face. It measures 8 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, and it connects via a 2-meter cable. The sensor can be tightened with a maximum torque of 10 Nm (7 Nm at the front) and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
