Description
The Baumer IFRM 12N1701/S14L 10214923 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA with no load. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It is constructed with a PBT sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in housing length. The connection is facilitated via an M12 connector, with a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm (Front: 10 Nm). It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated at protection class IP 67.
