Description
The Baumer IFRM 12N3701/S35L 11051240 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 25% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz. The sensor is powered by a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 18 mA. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 3 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. The sensor offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Constructed with a PBT sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, it measures 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in housing length. It connects via an M8 connector and requires a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm (Front: 10 Nm). The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
