Description
The Baumer IFRM 18N37A3/S14L 11078658 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor is designed for a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when unloaded. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, the sensor is built from brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT sensing face. It measures 18 mm in diameter and 60 mm in housing length, and connects via an M12 connector. The sensor can be tightened with a maximum torque of 40 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C.
