Description
The Baumer IFRM 18N37A4/L 11111672 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and adjustable hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when unloaded. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built from brass nickel-plated housing and PBT sensing face, ensuring durability. The sensor has a dimension of 18 mm in diameter and a housing length of 65 mm, and it connects via a 2-meter cable. It can be securely fastened with a maximum tightening torque of 40 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C.
