Description
Baumer IFRM 18P17A4/L 11111676 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes a PNP make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It is constructed with a PBT sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 65 mm in housing length. The sensor connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 40 Nm. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
