The Baumer IFRR 12N13T1/PL-9 11013655 is a non-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor designed for outdoor use, featuring a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm and a hysteresis range of 2 to 15% of Sr. It includes an LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It utilizes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a maximum output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its sensing face is made of LCP, while the housing is constructed from durable stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) and LSR, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 55 mm in length. The connection is facilitated via a 2-meter PUR cable with three 0.25 mm² wires. It can withstand tightening torques up to 20 Nm and operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -40 to +80 °C, with a higher tolerance up to +100 °C for cleaning for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly resistant to vibrations and shocks, meeting EN 61373: 2010 (category 3) standards, and offers an IP 68/69K & proTect+ protection class, ensuring robust performance in harsh environmental conditions.
