Description

The Baumer IFRR 12N17T1/L-9 11016190 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor designed for washdown applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm with a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates within a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, consuming a maximum of 10 mA with no load. It offers an NPN make function (NO) output circuit, supporting an output current of 200 mA and reducing to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is constructed with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing. It has a dimension of 12 mm in diameter and a housing length of 55 mm, connecting via a 2-meter PVC cable. The sensor can withstand operating temperatures from -40 to +80 °C and cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. It is rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for high-level protection against dust and water ingress, and meets stringent vibration and shock resistance standards as per EN 61373: 2010 and EN 60068-2. The sensor is Ecolab approved, ensuring suitability for hygienic applications.
