Description

The Baumer IFRR 18N13T1/L-9 11016050 is a non-flush, cylindrical threaded inductive sensor designed for washdown applications, featuring a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. It includes a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It offers an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. Enhanced durability features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection, with a robust stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing and LCP sensing face. The device is rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for high-level protection against dust and water ingress, and can withstand significant vibration and shock as per EN 61373: 2010 standards. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C and can handle cleaning temperatures between 80 and +100 °C for up to 30 minutes per day. The sensor is connected via a 2-meter PVC cable and is certified by Ecolab, ensuring suitability for stringent hygiene requirements.
