Description
The Baumer IGYX 08N17B3/L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and an assured sensing distance of 1.6 mm. It features a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 3 kHz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It is constructed with a PBT red sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 8 mm in diameter and 30 mm in length. The connection is facilitated via a 2-meter cable. It can withstand a tightening torque of up to 5 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and immersion.
