Description
The Baumer IGYX 08N37B3/L is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and an assured sensing distance of 1.6 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr within a temperature range of 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 3 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is an NPN break function (NC) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design features a PBT red sensing face and a stainless steel housing, measuring 8 mm in diameter and 30 mm in length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 5 Nm. Operating temperatures range from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
