Description

The Baumer IGYX 08P17B1/S35L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and an assured sensing distance of 1.6 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr within a temperature range of 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a 3-port LED red output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 3 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of stainless steel with a PBT red sensing face, and it measures 8 mm in diameter and 56 mm in length.
