The Baumer IGYX 12N17B1/S14L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of 3.2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a three-port red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
