Description
The Baumer IGYX 12N17B3/S14L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of 3.2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a three-port red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 15 mA. The output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated material, with a PBT red sensing face, and measures 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and has a maximum tightening torque of 10 Nm. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated at protection class IP 67.
