Description
The Baumer IGYX 12P17B1/S14L is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of 3.2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a 3-port red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is cylindrical threaded, made from brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT red sensing face. It measures 12 mm in diameter and 60 mm in housing length, and connects via an M12 connector with a maximum tightening torque of 10 Nm. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and is rated IP 67 for protection.
