Description
The Baumer IGYX 12P17B3/L is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of 3.2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is cylindrical threaded, with a housing made of brass nickel-plated and a sensing face of red PBT. It measures 12 mm in diameter and 40 mm in housing length, and it connects via a 2-meter cable. The maximum tightening torque is 10 Nm. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and has an IP 67 protection class.
