Description
The Baumer IGYX 12P37B3/S14L is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of 3.2 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a three-port red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is a PNP break function (NC) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated material, and the sensing face is made of red PBT. It measures 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in housing length, and it connects via an M12 connector with a maximum tightening torque of 10 Nm. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
