Description
The Baumer IGYX 18N17B3/S14L is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and an assured sensing distance of 6.4 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr from 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a three-port red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 400 Hz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 15 mA. The output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated material, and the sensing face is made of red PBT. It has a dimension of 18 mm in diameter and a housing length of 60 mm. The connection type is a connector M12 with a maximum tightening torque of 25 Nm. It operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C and has an IP 67 protection class.
