The Baumer IGYX 18N37B3/S14L is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and an assured sensing distance of 6.4 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr, a hysteresis range of 3-20% of Sr, and a switching frequency of 400 Hz. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10-30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 15 mA when no load is present. It includes an NPN break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensing face is made of red PBT, and the housing is brass nickel-plated, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and can be tightened with a maximum torque of 25 Nm. The operating temperature range is -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
