The Baumer IGYX 18P37B3/L is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and an assured sensing distance of 6.4 mm. It features a red LED output indicator and operates with a switching frequency of 400 Hz. The sensor supports a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA. It includes a PNP break function (NC) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It is constructed with a PBT red sensing face and a brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length. The connection is facilitated via a 2-meter cable. It can withstand a tightening torque of up to 25 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and immersion.
