Description

The Baumer IR12.P04S-F50.NV1Z.7BO is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and features a temperature drift of ±10%. It offers a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr and is equipped with a 3-port LED red output indicator. The sensor has a correction factor of 100% for mild steel, 80% for stainless steel, and 50% for aluminum. It operates at a switching frequency of 2 kHz and requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when no load is present. The output circuit is NPN complementary (NO/NC), and it has a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC with an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is cylindrical threaded, made with a PBT sensing face and brass nickel-plated housing, measuring 12 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and has a maximum tightening torque of 15 Nm. The operating temperature range is from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection.
