Description

The Baumer IWRM 18I9501 10216779 is a flush-mounted inductive sensor designed for precision distance measurement within a range of 2 to 5 mm. It features a high repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm and a linearity error of ±100 µm. The sensor operates at a measuring speed of less than 1 mm/ms and has a temperature coefficient of 1 µm/(K mm). It is powered by a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 35 mA with no load. The output is an analog 4 to 20 mA signal, compatible with load resistances between 500 and 1000 Ohm. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliability and safety in operation. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design is made from brass nickel-plated housing with a PBT sensing face, and it measures 18 mm in diameter and 65 mm in length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and can be securely installed with a maximum tightening torque of 40 Nm.
