The Baumer O300W.DP.2-GLUBO.PVN is a high-precision distance measuring sensor with a measuring distance of 20 to 300 mm and a measuring range of 280 mm. It features multiple adjustment options including Teach-in and IO-Link, and provides visual feedback through green and yellow LEDs for power and output status, respectively. The sensor offers exceptional repeat accuracy across four modes: Raw, High Speed, Standard, and High Accuracy, with the highest precision reaching up to 40 µm. It has a linearity error of ±3% of the measuring range and a beam type of Point. The sensor is designed to suppress reciprocal influence and has an alignment optical axis of less than 2°. Temperature stability is ensured with a drift of less than 0.3% Sde/K. The light source is a pulsed PinPoint LED with a wavelength of 630 nm, and the response times vary by mode, with the fastest being less than 1.5 ms in Raw mode. It operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC and includes features like short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The compact, rectangular design measures 12.9 mm in width, 32.2 mm in height, and 23 mm in depth, with a robust stainless steel housing and PMMA front optics. It supports an analog and push-pull / IO-Link output circuit, and is suitable for harsh environments with an IP 68/69K rating and proTect+ sealing, operating effectively in temperatures ranging from -25 to +60 °C. The sensor connects via an M8 4-pin connector, ensuring easy integration into various applications.
