Baumer O500.DP.2-GLUBJ.72F is a distance measuring sensor with a measuring distance of 60 to 550 mm and a measuring range of 490 mm. It features Teach-in and IO-Link for easy adjustment, and LED indicators for power, output, and light. The sensor offers repeat accuracy options ranging from ? 200 to 5000 µm in Raw mode to ? 50 to 1250 µm in High Accuracy mode. It has a linearity error of ± 3% Mr and a point beam type with suppression of reciprocal influence. The alignment of the optical axis is less than 1°, and it has a temperature drift of less than 0.3% Sde/K. The light source is a pulsed PinPoint LED with a wavelength of 630 nm, and response times vary from less than 1.5 ms in Raw mode to less than 14 ms in High Accuracy mode. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 30 mA and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. It features an analog output of 0 to 10 VDC and a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit, with a maximum output current of 100 mA. The switching output is light-operate and switchable, with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's dimensions are 18 mm in width, 45 mm in height, and 32 mm in depth, housed in a plastic casing of ASA and PMMA with an IP67 protection class. It is designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25 to +60 °C and storage temperatures from -40 to +70 °C. The sensor is also resistant to vibrations and shocks as per IEC standards.
