The Baumer OBDM 12N6910/S35A 10158753 is a high-precision laser sensor designed for step analysis with a sensing distance of 16 to 120 mm and a minimum teach-in range of 0.2 mm. It features a pulsed red laser diode light source, with a laser class of 2 and a wavelength of 650 nm. The beam diameter ranges from 0.5 to 0.2 mm. This sensor offers a quick response time of less than 5 ms and operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 28 VDC. It includes a green LED for power indication and a red LED as an output indicator. The sensor is equipped with an NPN output circuit, supporting an output current of 100 mA and a pulse length of 10 ms. It also features reverse polarity and short circuit protection. The compact, rectangular design measures 12.4 mm in width, 37 mm in height, and 34.5 mm in depth, with a robust die-cast zinc housing and a glass front. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +50 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.
